In my senior year of high school I knew I wanted to go into events management, so I thought working as a face painter for kids parties would be a fun way to start that work right away. I also already had experience baby sitting and loved taking art classes, so I was excited to try!
It’s hard to choose, but probably face painting because it scratches that “creative itch” that I think we all have. Balloon twisting is fun too, but it’s harder to improvise with.
That we’re human too! 99.99% of clients do remember this, but sometimes I have to remind them that we can’t be outside in 100* weather in the direct sun or outdoors when it’s below freezing. I know there is a certain vision for your event, but sometimes we need to be more practical than conceptual with event set-ups.
I once was hired as a face painter for a 1st birthday with over 200 people! It was like bigger than a wedding, it was so fun to be a part of and everyone was so nice to me.
