Jess R has been with a Longmeadow-based face painter and balloon twister at Kaleidoscope since the summer of 2015.

39809_1332015350748_7290958_nA graduate of the Westfield State University School of Liberal Arts, Jess is currently full-time momming while working at Kaleidoscope on weekends. During the week, she also teaches painting classes for kids and adults and occasionally freelances as a paint night instructor.

Jess’s long term goal is to be an Elementary Art Teachers and is looking to start her Master’s towards that goal when her kids are a little older.

For now, she’s available for face painting and balloon twisting parties in Southern and Central MA, as well as Cape Cod.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a balloon twister named Ryan!

super launch web

Ryan T hails from Auburn MA and serves all three Kaleido-states (MA, CT, and RI) as a super hero, prince, and cartoon character.

With a background in both theatre and early-childhood development, Ryan works full time in a daycare with ages 3-4 while entertaining at parties as a balloon twister and face painter on weekends.

With his huge personality and amazing balloon twisting skills, if you’re having a super hero at your next party, odds are it’s Ryan!

Set your balloon twister up for success: we need a table, chair, to be in the shade, have plenty of light, and be placed far away from music or loud noise.

Victoria D is a face painter and balloon twister from Westfield MA and a real-life cartoon character. Tough as a superhero, goofy as a cartoon, and as pretty as a princess, Victoria is one of our most versatile performers. With a background in performing for fun in high school and professionally as a character at Six Flags, Victoria took up face painting and balloon twisting without skipping a beat. Because of this, Victoria is often our go-to for any princesses-and-art combo packages, as well as our main MA mascot character.

Lauren R has been a face painter and balloon twister since August 2014 and is our resident Fairy God Mother!

Lauren started at Kaleidoscope so long ago, she actually found this job on Craig’s List! (Yes, THAT Craig’s List!) An avid cosplayer and costume designer, Lauren was looking for a job that combined her talent in visual arts with her love and experience working with children.

At events, Lauren is a face painter, balloon twister, hair artist, temporary tattoo artist, henna artist, clown, fairy, pirate, cartoon character, toddler-party-package-specialist, and probably a few other things we can’t remember. She covers all three of our states we service (CT, MA, and RI) but hails from Manchester, CT.

Before coming to Kaleidoscope, Lauren went to Champlain College for Elementary Education and before going to cosmetology school for hair and makeup. She’s a professional creative-thing-maker and a top-notch entertainer!
