Glitter Looks are a cross between face painting and trendy festival makeup. Our artists and face painters come equipped with full face- and body-painting kits, plus MOUNTAINS of glitter.
Guests of all genders are invited to chose from various colors and inspirations to create custom looks for themselves–from full glitter bears and space-alien-makeup to delicate lips and sleek mustaches.
The sky is the limit: just choose how many artists you want. For a party host on a budget, 1 or 2 artists can create quick and fun makeup looks–or, if you really want to wow guests, bring on more artists for full-face looks and even body art.

Glitter Looks FAQ
Is glitter looks for boys/men too?
Yes! Glitter beards and glitter hair are more popular than you would think. We’ve found that most boys or men who would have fun getting their face painted will also have fun with glitter looks.
If you’re looking for something to compliment glitter looks for any boys or men who are a little too insecure to enjoy glitter looks, we recommend airbrush tattoos as an additional product to compliment glitter looks. (However, we really do find that everyone enjoys the glitter!)
What’s included in a glitter looks package?
When you ask for a quote, you’ll be given prices for two different packages to choose from:
- Full glitter looks. Guests can choose as much glitter as they want (eyes, lips, hair, brows, beards) plus a touch of face paint makeup for an over-the-top look.
- Glitter quickies. Guests can choose 1 or 2 areas to add glitter (eyes, lips, hair, browns) for a quick touch of glitter.
You’ll be able to choose which you’d like at booking.
Is glitter looks different than face painting?
Yes. Our face painting packages are 99% face paint with some glitter in them, but very little (think of it as a quick “poof” of glitter from a spray bottle across the design).
Our glitter looks packages are 95% glitter, with a tad of face paint in them (a touch of lipstick, or maybe a quick swirl of makeup).
How do you remove the glitter?
Our face paint and glitter look binder are all formulated with makeup-grade products and can typically be washed off like any makeup.
However, some glitter may stay on longer than the rest of your face paint because it’s so much larger than the face paint pigment. If that happens, a “makeup artist hack” that might help is using a clear or painter’s tape with low-grade adhesive and peeling the glitter off. (Please do a test spot first on your hand or arm to make sure you do not have an adverse reaction. If you are concerned, do not use this trick or consult with your doctor or dermatologist.)
For types 3 and 4 hair, we recommend selecting glitter only for your face and not hair as very curly or coily hair may make glitter more difficult to remove.
Does the glitter make a mess?
Our artists are careful with glitter, however some will end up on guests’ clothing and a small bit may end up on the floor.
If you’re concerned with glitter ending up in your carpet, we recommend doing glitter looks either outdoors or on a slick surface (tile, wood, concrete, linoleum). To remove any glitter from flat indoor surfaces, we recommend picking it up with packaging tape (similar to the trick shown above) over mopping/dusting.
